SAN DIEGO SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AGENCY

Social That Fills Rooms, Not Just Feeds

Strategy, content production, community management and creator partnerships for San Diego restaurants, hotels, venues and consumer brands — measured against covers and bookings, not likes.

MEASURED, NOT CLAIMED

What Social Actually Delivered for Our Clients

Google Analytics 4, pulled 27 August 2026. May–July 2026 against the same three months in 2025, counting only clients we ran in both periods so new accounts cannot flatter the number.

76%More Sessions From Social
22.6%Of All Site Traffic, From Social
15%Growth in Total Site Sessions

Social went from under a sixth of these clients' website traffic to nearly a quarter of it. Worth being straight about the spread: two of the three grew hard and one declined, which is what a real portfolio looks like rather than a case-study reel.

WHAT WE RUN

San Diego Social Media Marketing Services

Six things, all in-house. The content production is the part most agencies subcontract and it is the part that decides whether any of the rest works.

Planning a monthly social media content calendar for a San Diego brand

Platform Strategy

A plan per platform, not one post pushed everywhere. What works on Instagram dies on LinkedIn, and the reverse. We decide which platforms you should actually be on and, more usefully, which ones you should quit.

Content Production

Photo and video shot on site by our own studio — your room, your plates, your people. Stock imagery and reposted supplier assets are why most hospitality feeds look interchangeable.

Responding to comments and messages during social community management

Community Management

Comments, DMs and reviews answered quickly and in your voice. For restaurants this is frequently the actual booking channel, and a message left unanswered for two days is a table you lost.

Creator Partnerships

Local creators whose audiences genuinely overlap yours, briefed properly and measured on what they drove. Full detail on our influencer and UGC programme. We check engagement quality before we pay anyone — follower counts are the easiest number to buy.

Paid Social

Organic reach on its own does not move a business any more. We put budget behind the content that is already earning attention — run by the same team as your paid ads, so creative and targeting are not arguing with each other.

Reporting & Asset Library

Monthly reporting on reach, engagement, saves and traffic to the site — plus every asset we shoot delivered to you, licensed for any use. You keep the library whether or not you keep us.

THE ONLY METRIC THAT SETTLES IT

A Full Room on a Tuesday

Engagement rate is a useful diagnostic and a terrible goal. Follower count is worse — it is the number agencies report when they cannot point at anything that happened in the business.

For a restaurant the question is covers. For a hotel it is direct bookings. For a venue it is enquiries. We instrument what we can — link clicks, profile taps, reservation referrals, GA4 social sessions — and we are honest that social's contribution is partly unattributable. Someone who saw your reel on Sunday and walked in on Friday shows up in your data as a direct visit.

What we will not do is inflate the parts we can measure to compensate for the parts we cannot.

A SMALL, LOUD MARKET

Social Media Marketing, Built for San Diego

San Diego hospitality is a small world with a loud feed. The same food creators cover the Gaslamp, La Jolla and North Park, the same audiences follow all of them, and a venue that posts like everybody else disappears into the scroll within a week.

We have run social for rooftop bars, boutique hotels, fine dining rooms and a boba franchise across the county, which mostly means we know which creators actually convert, which local hashtags are dead, and how fast a comment needs answering on a Friday night.

We work with businesses across Downtown, La Jolla, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Poway and Coronado — the full list is on our service areas page.

QUESTIONS

San Diego Social Media FAQs

Which social platforms should my business be on?

Fewer than you think. For San Diego restaurants and venues, Instagram and TikTok do almost all the work, with Facebook mattering for events and an older local audience. B2B belongs on LinkedIn and very little else. Being mediocre on six platforms loses to being excellent on two.

How much does social media management cost?

Our retainers run from about $2,000 to $7,500 a month depending on how much original content production is involved. Content is the expensive part — scheduling posts is cheap, showing up to shoot your Friday service is not.

Do you create the content or do we?

We do. Photo and video shot on location by our own team, on a regular cadence. You can supply your own and we will work with it, but we will tell you honestly whether it is good enough to build a feed around.

How often should we post?

Three to five times a week on Instagram for most hospitality clients, with Stories most days. Consistency beats volume — an account that posts daily for three weeks and then goes quiet for a month performs worse than one posting three times a week forever.

How do you measure success?

Reach and engagement as diagnostics; profile taps, link clicks, reservation referrals and GA4 social sessions as the numbers that matter. Across the clients we ran through 2025 and 2026, social went from 14.8% to 22.6% of their website traffic.

Are followers worth anything?

Only as a by-product. A local restaurant with 4,000 genuinely local followers is worth more than one with 40,000 scattered globally, because only one of those groups can physically eat your food. We do not buy followers and we do not report follower count as an achievement.

Do you handle influencer and creator partnerships?

Yes. We identify creators whose audience genuinely overlaps yours, negotiate and brief them, run the visit, and measure what it drove. We vet engagement quality first — a large share of local food accounts have audiences that will never visit.

Can you manage reviews and messages as well as posts?

Yes, community management is included in most retainers — comments, DMs and Google reviews, answered in your voice with escalation rules agreed up front for anything sensitive.

Do we own the photos and videos you produce?

Yes. Every asset we shoot is delivered to you and licensed for any use — your website, ads, print, menus, anything. You keep the whole library if we stop working together.

Do you do paid social as well as organic?

Yes, and they work far better together. We put budget behind the organic content that is already proving itself rather than making separate ad creative in a vacuum. That runs through our paid ads team.
